GlowAI trust deskReport Content on GlowAI
Effective Updated
Every way to report something in Explore, the GlowAI community, including without an account.
On this page
1. If someone is in danger
If anyone is in immediate danger, call your local police first. For child safety, also read the child safety page.
2. Report in the app
Open the post, comment or profile, tap its menu, and choose Report. Pick the reason that fits best and add details if you can. You can also block or mute the user so you no longer see them. Your identity is never shown to the person you report.
3. Report without an account
You do not need a GlowAI account to report. We have a web report form that works without JavaScript. It opens when Explore launches, and this page will link to it then. Until Explore launches, nothing in it is public. With the form you can report:
- An intimate or sexual image of me was shared without my consent
- A photo of me was posted without my consent
- A child is at risk: sexual content or abuse that involves someone under 18
- Terrorist content
- Other illegal content
- An account belongs to a child under 13
- Copyright notice (17 U.S.C. 512(c)(3))
- Copyright counter-notice (17 U.S.C. 512(g)(3))
The form asks where the content is (a link, a post title or a user name), what is wrong, your name and your email, and asks you to confirm that the report is true. You may report a child safety concern without giving your name. Please do not attach images or files. After you send it, you get a reference number. The privacy policy explains what we collect when you report without an account and how long we keep it.
4. Report by email
Write to munetic.studiogmail.com. Say where the content is, what is wrong and why it breaks the rules or the law, and give your name and email address. Please do not send reports about child safety, intimate images or self-harm by email: report them in the app or with the web form, so that only the person on our safety team who handles them opens them. Never attach an abusive image or video; send the link or the user's handle instead.
5. What happens next
A person on our safety team reviews every report. We aim to act on reports of intimate images or photos shared without consent within 24 hours, and on other reports within 48 hours. Reports about children, threats, terrorism or self-harm go first to the person on our safety team who handles them. We may remove the content, limit it to adults, or act against the account. We tell you what we decided and why, and you can appeal that decision. If we act on the content, its author gets a notice and can appeal too. The Terms of Service explain notices, strikes and appeals.
6. Intimate images shared without consent
If an intimate image of you was shared without your consent, choose the first reason on the form, or the matching reason in the app. Give the link to the post and enough to identify you, sign the form with your name, and confirm in good faith that you did not consent. You or someone authorized to act for you can send this request. Include your contact details. We remove valid reports quickly, and under US law we must do it within 48 hours of a valid request. We also remove copies of the same image that we know about.
7. Copyright notices and counter-notices
Use the copyright reasons on the web form or email munetic.studiogmail.com. The form asks for everything a notice or counter-notice needs under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act: your signature, the work, where the material is, your contact details, and the statements made in good faith and under penalty of perjury. The Terms of Service list each item.
8. Misuse of reporting
Reports must be honest. Sending reports you know are false, or using reports to harass someone, breaks the community rules. The web form limits how many reports one network can send, to stop abuse.
