Updated

Version 1.0.0

Release date:

The first release, for Windows 10 and 11 and macOS 15 or newer. English only.

In this version

  • Voice: say “Munu” and ask in one go. It sleeps after about eight minutes of quiet and wakes on its name.
  • Interrupt it any time with “Munu, stop”. Quiet mode shows replies on screen instead of speaking them.
  • Memory in plain Markdown notes on your computer, with a log of every change Munu makes.
  • Hand control through the webcam: move the pointer, click, drag, scroll and move windows, in four modes.
  • Opens apps, websites and searches, controls music and volume, and takes screenshots.
  • Background jobs that tell you when they finish.
  • On a Mac: types into apps, reads Mail and Calendar, and makes email drafts for you to send.
  • Connected apps such as Gmail, Calendar, GitHub and Slack through your own Composio account. Anything that sends or changes something waits for “Munu confirm”.
  • A nine-step welcome window that takes about three minutes, with a 7-day free trial and email sign-in.

Not in this version

  • Moving the mouse by itself. You can move the pointer with your own hand, but the assistant does not click on its own.
  • Sending email or messages. It can only make a draft for you to send.
  • Running shell commands.
  • Languages other than English.
