Munu and Windows Voice Access
Voice access is available in Windows 11, version 22H2 and later. It lets you control your PC and author text using only your voice and without an internet connection.

Where Munu is different
Voice Access is a built-in accessibility tool for controlling Windows by voice, and it works offline. Munu is an assistant you talk to: it answers questions, remembers things in your notes and runs jobs. It needs the internet, and it also runs on Windows 10 and on a Mac.
Munu and macOS Voice Control
Speak commands to navigate the desktop and apps, interact with what’s on the screen, dictate and edit text, and more.

Where Munu is different
Voice Control is built for driving the Mac by voice, command by command. Munu is for asking and getting an answer out loud, with memory between conversations.
Munu and macOS Head Pointer
Head pointer lets you move the pointer on the screen using the movement of your face or head, as detected by the camera that’s built into or connected to your Mac.

Where Munu is different
Head Pointer follows your face or head. Munu’s hand control follows your hand: you pinch to click, drag and scroll, and grab windows with a fist. On Windows we did not find a built-in feature that moves the pointer with your hand through the camera.
Munu and Microsoft Copilot
Copilot retains the last 18 months of interactions in your conversation history.

Where Munu is different
Copilot keeps your conversation history with your account, where you can delete it. Munu keeps what it remembers as Markdown files in a folder on your own computer, which you can read, edit or delete yourself.
Say its name. It answers.
Munu is a desktop voice assistant for Windows and Mac, with memory you own and hand control through your webcam.
